BRENDAN McDERMOTT

My experience in journalism has been wide and varied. I have done anchor work and written scripts for MUTV, Mizzou's student TV station. In my convergence classes, I have produced work for Newsy, a Scripps-owned video production site, and KOMU, the local NBC affiliate. I have also run blogs for internships and had editorials published in local newspapers.

My life outside of the newsroom is spent listening to the newest hip-hop, watching Cardinals games, and waiting anxiously for the newest episode of Game of Thrones.

 

I am currently working towards a Bachelor's in Convergence Journalism at Mizzou. After graduation, I intend to pursue a law degree.
